Sarah is known for flow and flexy floorwork, keeping it smooth, sultry, slinky and slowwww... She is a firm believer in committing to every movement and that it's not just what you do, but the way you do it. Sarah is planning to start teaching workshops soon - expect to learn glidework, musicality, hairography, and how to romance the floor ;)
When did you start pole dancing?
I've been poling on and off for 3 years, but only started 'dancing' when I bought my first pair of heels over a year later - it was like finding my missing connection to the floor! No one near me taught choreo/exotic flow at the time, so I rolled around on the floor experimenting and getting creative, figured out some basic low flow and entered Pole Theatre after some gentle nagging from friends and the rest is history... I attend exotic masterclasses whenever I can, finding they help more with creative thinking than content.
How did pole come in to your life?
I first wanted to try pole after seeing Lucy Cork dancing in the Nero - Guilt video, a real wow moment!! Due to lifestyle and location, I didn't do my first class for over a year after, but it was definitely worth the wait.
Why you love pole dancing?
Pole dancing allows me to play out and express the way the music makes me feel when I hear it, and it's wonderful... Before pole I'd never had any dance, gymnastics, yoga, or any other performance experience, and I am so grateful to have discovered pole when I did, it's completely changed my life for the better.
